This project originally started with the gifting of cash prizes to Students who graduated with a First Class and Second Class honours degree which was later extended to awarding students of Voice of Freedom Campus Fellowship scholarship fund.

In 2010, 10 beneficiaries were awarded the sum of N25,000 to help sort out tuition fees. On Saturday 23rd April, 2016 a governing body was created to oversee the affairs of the board with Prof. Julian Mbegbu as the Chairman, Pst. Moses Onodua (Vice Chairman), Pst. Christopher Egiebor (Secretary), Pst. Josephine Iyamu (Assistant Secretary) and Dness. Glory Edopkayi, Pst. Richard Edughean and Pst. Mrs. Stella Lawani as members of the board. So far, the Board has offered scholarship award to over 300 students in various Nigerian Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education.

Mindful to note is that this board does not stop at the above levels of education, it also extends its benevolence to Primary and Secondary school students in Freedom Assembly Group of school awarding pupils and students who emerged in 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions in the promotion exams.
