The welfare of widows has been a lifelong burden of Bishop Dr. Abraham Chigbundu which started with giving out small bags of rice and chickens to widows at the end of the year to enable them comfortably enjoy the yuletide and every other year since the year 2000.

He has made it a point of necessity to always provide clothings and sometimes food to the widows in the ministry. The ministry has not less than 200 widows whom His Lordship gave gifts of clothes and foods to every year ending.
